Greetings, Council have agreed that all NZCTA shoots that come under the Sporting discipline will now have AA Grade included.
That is all NZCTA Sporting & Compak championships. So that means Nationals, Islands, Zone and Open shoots commencing after 1st January 2012.
This is something the Sporting Commitee has been wanting for some time, and with the large amount of AA grade shooters at all events now, we think it will help to make a level playing field for all shooters. This along with the new grading starting up on January 1, we think will go along way to giving shooters some of the things they have been asking for.
CHEERS!!

Good news indeed, much fairer & a few less sharks in the A grade pond. Also, an inspiration for attaining AA grade as I like swimming with sharks, even if i’m only a minnow!

Although it was a very hard fought battle to get it accepted, it will again change peoples grading from Jan 1 2012, as we change our Sporting/Compak grades to match Australia.
As Geoff said we need your shooters feed back on any issues that you have (shooting only I’m afraid, as we all ready have full time jobs!!)
