Waikato have just about finished setting the fields for the Nationals, the grounds are looking great and the club members are endeavouring to make the event ‘worth remembering’.
The online entries are proving very popular and we appreciate the positive feedback. It is our intention to move towards online entry for all major Sporting events in NZ, as it helps clubs plan for the events and makes things fairer for everyone. With the nationals it was decided to offer both online entry and entry on the day, because it was the first time online entries were used and at relatively short notice.
We are making the Nationals as fair as possible for everyone, we have drawn squads and any late entries will be allocated a squad on the day. No preferential treatment will be given to those shooters wanting to squad with their mates.
Squads will be published on Sunday night and emailed to all those that have pre-entered. Entries will continue to be taken online until Wednesday 17th Feb. 10.30pm.
Waikato will kick things off at 8.30am each day, starting with the North Island Sporting Championship on Friday.
As you arrive, please visit the office to confirm your entry and pay your nominations.
